DADDY'S HEARTBEAT (1) - HIS WILL - HIS PERFECT WILL

This song will help you to listen to the voice of God called 'A Gentle Whisper'

HIS WILL

Psalm119:1-4, ‘Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walks in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; they walk in His ways. You have commanded us to keep Your precepts diligently.’

Welcome to the Realm of the Spirit!!! We are now in the inner court of the Spiritual Temple of God.

When we obey and walk in the Spiritual Laws of God (the word), we are walking in the Spiritual Realm and fulfill His Perfect Will for us. The Word is Spirit (Eph.6:17); this chapter will mainly focus on the soul and Spirit of man (born-again).

The Perfect Will of God is His ideals and standard instructions for humanity to follow, so that He can complete the plans He has predestined for us before the creation of the earth. Just like the Plimsoll line, which is a marking on the ship’s side showing legal submersion under various conditions, it is an indicator of danger when we go out of line of the standards of God. We can work towards God’s ideals while we are in our present situation as we all fall short of His Glory. Our spiritual maturity comes as we obey and work towards the ideals of God.

May all Glory and Honor and Thanksgiving and Praise be to God who has sent His Holy Spirit to live in us and help us overcome our weaknesses after we have received our salvation.. Amen!!!

Gen.1:2, ‘The earth was without form, and void and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the water.’

Before the creation of the earth the Bible says, the Holy Spirit of God was hovering over the water, brooding like a mother hen over its eggs before life and creation came forth.

And in these last days, since the day of Pentecost( Acts 2), the Holy Spirit has been hovering over the waters of humanity (fishes) leading , guiding, teaching, comforting, and helping the people of God to complete the plans God has for us and lead the non-believers to come to know Jesus.

Jesus says in John14:16. ‘And I pray the Father, and He will give another helper (comforter) that He may abide with you forever.’

We have been so blessed to be born in such a time as to be in theEra of the Holy Spirit’, a Helper, Comforter and a Guide and God comes to dwell among us. Joel 2:28, ‘…And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh…’
In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit only fell on certain elects God wanted to use, like the Prophets, Kings and Priests. It’s a different ball game now, and it is exclusively given to the born-again Christians.

Those people of other religions may bleed themselves dry or bring physical pain to their bodies or sacrifice their children to their idols in vain, to seek purification; but by the Spirit of God, His grace will be sufficient for us to overcome every problem and testing and trials we have and guide us in the sanctification of our souls for eternity (1Cor.10:13)

Isaiah 40:31, ‘…But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagle, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.’

There are many spirits in the world today but there is only one Holy Spirit of the Almighty Creator God; and we are glad to have the genuine Holy Spirit of God to dwell within us because we have the Blood of Jesus to cover us. Amen!!!

For others, who are also seeking to find God, could not come near to the Creator God because they do not have the redeeming grace of the Blood of the Lamb (salvation) and they are deceived and are energized by other spirits who may even come as angels of light.

In this end-time move of God, He will raise up a generation of finishers (2Tim.4:7) whose will, will come and fall in line with the Will and Standards of God, who through their own choice, would want to come and spend eternity with Him and the Holy Spirit is at work to help them choose the right way and refine them in the process. The Holy Spirit is preparing a Bride for Jesus. Amen!!!

HIS PERFECT WILL

Eph.1:4, ‘For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.’

God foreknew us before the foundation of the earth and we are ‘predestined to conform to the likeness of His Son……’ (Rom 8:29B).

Even before the creation of the world, God has elected us and chosen us to be pure and holy like Christ. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have agreed in unison before the world existed, that Jesus, the Son, will be sent to die for the sins of humanity and rise again, and teach us the way in the purification of the souls of man. This is the Perfect Will of God.

Rev.13:8, ‘all inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of this world.’

1Peter 1:20, ‘He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.’

In Genesis chapter 15, God told Abram that his children will be as numerous as the stars in heaven. I do not want to look at the numbers, but the word ‘stars’. Why did He use the stars instead of other things? The stars do not generate light by itself but are reflections of the sun, the only natural source of light. In heaven God is the original great bright light, the spiritual children of Abraham will be like shinning stars in heaven, reflecting the glory of God.

How much the reflection of the brightness (Glory) of God will be how much Christ-likeness we have after God had purified us and dealt with us in the dispensation of our duties and purpose for God; this will be our identity and ranking in heaven. This is the Perfect Will of God to be a reflection of His glory or Christ-likeness in heaven

THE VISION

Daniel 12:2-3, ‘And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine, like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.’ (The Rapture)

When I had my operation in July, 2003 in the General Hospital, Penang, to remove my kidneys, I saw this vision in the middle of the night. It was on the third day in the hospital. I could not sleep after I had realized that I had come through a miraculous operation. I was so excited and inspired; perhaps also with the help the ‘antibiotics’ I was taking.

Every time I closed my eyes, I could see stars, beautiful stars in different shades of brightness in the firmament of the universe. And as I began to look closer and concentrate on the shinning stars, they began to come closer and closer to me, until they became trees, charcoal black oily trees; that vision came on and on the whole night and I could not bring myself to understand what the vision was all about.

As I began to seek the Lord later when I was discharged from the hospital, the Lord started to explain this vision clearly to me. The explanation of the stars could be found in Dan: 12: 2-3.

God impressed upon my heart that from now on He wants me to focus on and tell His people about His Perfect Will in His plans for eternity. He also wants me to explain scriptures through His eyes (perspective) looking down from heaven, not from the world looking up, because much confusion has arisen when people wants to understand God’s plan by using their worldly intellect, putting God in a box.

Psalm 1:3, explains about the Godly man, ‘He shall be like trees planted by the river of water.'

Mark 8:24, ‘And he looked up and said, 'I see men like trees, walking.’ This is what the blind man of Bethsaida said when he was healed by Jesus and the first thing he said was he saw men like trees.

The trees in my vision spoke about humanity; and the oily charcoal dark trees talks about the condition of their un-regenerated souls on the earth.

This is a futuristic vision and a calling for me. Again, God wants me to preach to His children about His plans to transform humanity into pure souls, shinning like the bright lights and shinning stars in heaven, a reflection of His Glory.(Dan.12:2-3) through all eternity. God has promoted me to be a Prophetic Exalter, telling God’s people the Will of God for the future and exalting and encouraging them in the process. I am not a Prophet.

In the firmament of God, there are the greater lights and the lesser lights. (Gen.:1:16). The sun is the brightest original light and all the other lights are the reflection of the glory of the sun. Even the stars have their own shades of brightness.

You have the brighter star, lesser glow stars and some pale shinning stars at the corner of the universe. When our souls are perfected, like a mirror we will reflect the glory of God in His eternal kingdom.

The Lord revealed to me that the different degrees of reflected brightness depends on the condition (maturity) of the soul before we die and also the credits we have received serving Him on earth.

God revealed even more to me when He brought me back to the days when I was a science teacher, concerning nature’s way of making diamonds.

In the eyes of science, I had taught that diamonds were formed millions of years ago when large acres of forestations were buried under the earth through earth movements, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and glacier movements.

And through years of pressure and heat from the centre of the earth, the body liquid masses of the forest became fossil oil and were stored in channels under the surface of the earth now called crude oil for petroleum.

And the hard wood body parts of the plants became hard carbon and through a longer period of pressure and heat, will turn to rough diamonds, waiting to be mined, polished and shine like the stars in heaven.

Spiritually, the Lord revealed to me again that it was like the regenerating process of God in purifying souls for His eternal kingdom. The pressure and heat represented the refiner’s fire and the baptism of fire God sent on the souls that needed to be purified just like in the refining of gold.

The squeezed out oil from the forest talked about the fragrance of brokenness to be diffused in every place and through further dealings of the Lord, they will graduate to be shinning stars in heaven.

The different grades of brightness, like the polished diamonds, will depend on the availability of their yieldedness in allowing themselves to be dealt with or burned by God’s Holy Fire.

In conclusion Jesus had not come to die for our salvations only but had given us the keys into the Spirit Realm to continue our spiritual pilgrimage on earth, with the help of the Holy Spirit, in the cleansing of our souls to be holy and blameless (Eph.1:4), so that He can present His flawless Bride to the Father in due course.

DADDY'S HEARTBEAT (7) - HIS PLEASURES - THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL

This song is not a new release from the 'Bee Gees', it is one of the first few songs I wrote when I was a young Christian called 'The Dew of the Morning' Be Blessed.

EL- SHADDAI - THE ALMIGHTY GOD - THE BREASTED ONE

Gen. 17:1-2 (KJV), ‘And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God (El-Shaddai); walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between Me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.’

God appeared to Abram and introduced Himself as ‘El-Shaddai’, the Almighty God. And then He continued to tell Abram and his wife how He would manifest that name in their lives and current situations; He provided for all their needs, and also gave them a promised Son at a very old age; God never fails, El signifies the Almighty ‘Strong One’ and Shaddai in Hebrew literally means, ‘The Breasted One’. This pictures God as the Strong Nourisher, Strength Giver, Satisfier, and All Bountiful, the supplier of the needs of His people.

Don’t you think it’s strange to call God, ‘The Breasted One’ when we have all along known Him as a Male and the Father to His children? It is actually symbolic to His nature as also the Mother, who nourishes His children, who nurses us and watches over us with that tender loving care of a mother to the spiritual babies who need mother’s milk.

1Peter2:2, ‘Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.’

At this early stage of knowing Him, He is the Father and Mother to all His Spiritual babies. As in Gen. 17:1-2, Abram at this early stage of finding Him, God already revealed Himself as El-Shaddai, the Provider ‘and will multiply thee exceedingly’. Abram was a Spiritual baby then.

Compared to this modern day New Testament Church, the sheep that are ‘Born Again’ and come into the church at the outer court as also Spiritual babies, need to be nourished with spiritual milk in the word of God; what El-Shaddai is to Abram, is also like Jesus to the believers and of course introducing Jesus to the non-believers. The New Testament Five Folds Ministry (Eph.4:11-13) with their Spiritual gifting by the Holy Spirit, will take over the work in the Body of Christ in feeding the babies.

I have to explain here that in the Spiritual realm there is only one gender and we are all created in God’s image. Man and woman are created for the ordained purpose of procreation only on earth, so that humanity will continue and fulfill God’s plans. There is no procreation in heaven. I remember Jesus says in Matthew 22:30, ‘At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, they will be like the angels in heaven.’ There will be no need of sex in heaven; Apostle Paul also says that heaven’s pleasure will be infinitely better than the best this life offers (2Cor 12:1-4).

El - Shaddai is only one name out of the arrays of names He revealed Himself to His children. Just like a big diamond that has various facets, His names that have been revealed in the Bible are synonymous to His characters. What is your need my beloved, He will be to you what you want Him to be; He is the great ‘I AM.’

Jeremiah 33:2-3 (KJV), ‘ Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it; to establish it, the Lord is His name, call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.’

His character is truly like the facets of the diamond, from the Awesome Almighty, Holy God of judgment, Holy anger, Holy jealous God (Ex 5:20), as described in the Old Testament, where His Glory thunders (Psalm 29:3), to the New Testament passionate, graceful, loving, joyful, peaceful., patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle and self control (Gal 5:22) characters; of which people on earth called feminine.

In the New Testament, Jesus is the Bridegroom and the Church is the Bride (Rev. 19:7). So therefore, ‘The Breasted One’ is the introductory manifestation of the Almighty as the Strong Provider to the Spiritual babes.

But Praise be to God, Philippians 4:19, ‘And my God will meet all my needs according to the His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.’ In the New Testament church all the promises of the Bible and Names are fulfilled and come under the Name of Jesus. Because of the work of the cross, God sees us through the blood of Jesus and reverse the curse on Adam (Gen. 3:17-19) concerning prosperity and bearing fruits for those who receive Jesus in their lives.

Jesus is our all in all, complete fullness. We call this initial period of provision in the New Testament, as the Abundance, Prosperity and Healing Season; a period of Mercy and Grace for the new converts who have just come to know Jesus and ask Him to be the Savior of their lives.

This is in the First Season of God in the Outer Court which we now called the ‘Prosperity Gospel’ Season a period of feasting in God’s abundance and restoration ( Deut.28:11). At this stage, God enjoys giving and gives gifts to His children (Eph.4:8)

The human spirit is dormant before the Holy Spirit of God comes and energizes it when we are ‘Born-Again’ after asking Jesus to come into our hearts as Lord and Savior. The heathens have been subjected to the abuse of this fallen world where their spirits, souls and bodies have been extensively damaged by sins and the systems of the world. They are crying out for attention and their souls hunger and thirst for God’s provision of restoration and healing. God will meet them at their needs at this point and He will reveal Himself as El-Shaddai – the more than enough God, when they come in.

I have watch young people coming into the youth church; they are barely 15-20 years old yet their spirits, souls and bodies have been damages so extensively. I cry every time I think of them. What have they gone through especially in their homes that have brought them into such a situation? Imperfect parents raising up imperfect children but ‘The Breasted One’ will nurse and nourish them back to normalcy if they are willing.

When presented with the Gospel of Provision by God in meeting all their needs, new souls will come into the Kingdom extensively. This has been the tool for Evangelism and millions have come into the sheep’s pen in this first Season of God. This is God’s purpose to woo the people of the world to join His Kingdom as the first step in the Spiritual Realm on the road to Spiritual maturity in the Spirit. Because of this reason some people call these Christians in this season of God, worldly and carnal; of the flesh. Even Apostle Paul calls them ‘infant in Christ’ (1Cor.3:1).That is what the world wants, is searching for and cannot get it.

At this point and for this reason this ‘Prosperity Gospel’ of God is Scriptural and is not from the devil. God creates but the devil only perverts. I have heard so much negative reports and discussions and bias opinions of this ‘Prosperity Gospel’ and I have asked the Lord to show me some truth. Even when I started this blog, I was still in agreement with the ‘Holier than Thou’ attitudes of the Pharisees over the ‘Prosperity Gospel’

As God begins to reveal to me about the truth and where it has all started, I begin to be convicted so much as to kneel before Him in repentance. It is the first season of our God of Prosperity!!! For now and for all eternity!!!

The fruit of this Prosperity Gospel has brought into the Kingdom of God millions by the millions of new souls. Whether they are genuine or not will depend on how they will respond with their faiths and also bear fruits in their lives when God draws them into the next step in their journey to fulfill God’s plans for them that has been predestined to be joint heirs with Jesus in heaven (Rom. 8:17). The choice belongs to them.

This is the season to be jolly and Christians would want to stay put for the rest of their lives even though the clouds that cover to protect them from the sun and the pillars of light at night have moved on. Then they will become overgrown Spiritual babies.

So it is with the Body of Christ today, many have overstayed but some have responded to the love of God that draws them into the Inner Court where the all consuming fires of purification will be waiting for them. Amen.

(As to the characteristics of these ‘Spiritual Babies’ or ‘Outer Court’ people please refer to my earlier messages on ‘The First Season of God’ and ‘The Outer Court Christians’)

ABUSES OF ‘THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL’

1Tim.6:10, ‘For the love of money is a root of all evil,’ but without money nothing can be accomplished. The people in the world need money to satisfy the cravings of their flesh.

Christians need money too and God will open doors for them to create wealth and He will provide all their needs and open the windows of heaven and pour down so much blessings in their lives that their storehouses would not be able to contain if they are obedient in giving back to God (Malachi 3:10).

The local body of Christ needs money too and God will provide through the blessed sheep to bring provisions into storehouse of God; where the wool from the lambs will provide the servants of God with clothing and the milk to feed and nourish their families (Prov.27:27) and the left over, to do good work. This is the Spiritual Order of God concerning the flow of Divine Finance.

Unfortunately, this is not so, as young Christians who are worldly and whose souls are un-regenerated, full of selfishness, inwardness and of the flesh, will try to get as much for themselves within the body. They will give to God only for the many folds return. They will have the same attitude as the heathens who go for the gifts and not the Giver. They will think that they can manipulate God and other Christians too, using God’s name.

But there will be many who obey and they will go on to be blessed and the Body of Christ prospers.

The numbers of people in the congregation of the Church will draw and attract those who would want to make a fast buck on the sheep which at this stage are vulnerable and have tasted God and know that He is good. Salesmen from all walks of life will take the opportunity to close a sale using the name of God.

John 2:14-16, ‘In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!’’ This is the heartbeat of Jesus concerning these people, the first time I’ve read about His Holy Anger.

Although they are selling articles of worship and sacrifices for the convenience of the worshipers to worship God (opportunist), their hearts are to make money (their god) using God’s premise.

The hunger and thirst of the sheep for God will draw many un-regenerated so-called ministers of God into the rat’s race in fooling the new Christians . They come as wolves among the sheep and begin to challenge their faiths in giving and they will carry away chunks from the reserves of the sheep. The sheep will be thinking they have done great exploits for God in investing in His Kingdom. All these will go into the ministers’ personal accounts to satisfy their flesh in high living, instead of doing good.

Usually these ministers start well and when the Lord blesses their ministries, their lives and attitudes change and become greedy. They are responsible as stewards of the finances of God. This has given ‘The Prosperity Gospel’ a bad name

If these groups of people do not realize their wrongs and continue with their sins, they will be expose by God; I believe you have read of ministers and big ministries falling like ten pins, one by one in the US.

Perhaps this is the group of people mentioned in the Bible that Jesus says in Matt. 7:21-23, ‘Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers!'

Money should not be the criteria in serving God; this is part and parcel for those who want to serve in God’s ministry that we will have to live by faith. God will not muzzle an ox while treading out grains (Deut. 25:4) and a worker is worthy of his wages (Luke 10:7).

At this stage, the sheep should now be thought to discern between good and evil, they need Spiritual meat now, no more milk, so that they can continue with their journey to maturity and fulfill their pilgrimage here on earth.

Hebrews 5: 13-14, ‘Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching of righteousness. But solid food is for the mature who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil’. This will be the skill develop by the Holy Spirit in all Christians through their faithful walk with God.

Christians whom being human, can do a lot of good (great exploits) for God but on the other side they still have their weaknesses and short comings (old man) in their characters; look at the life of King David in the Bible. To be able to do good and keep the bad in check, is a skill that has to be developed with the help of the Holy Spirit. Your maturity depends on your skill to discern between good and evil and to make the right choice for Jesus. Many Christians still lack in this area of character building.

This will be the next step God will lead His people into, in their pilgrimage to fulfill God’s plans for them on this earth and be victorious and be overcomers for God.

Will the journey in our next step be better, more glorious?

We are now so blessed by God, will we be given more?

We will be moving from the physical into the spiritual realm, will we be reaching A GREATER HIGH IN GOD in our spiritual worship to God?

Let me take you to the next series I will be sharing, called ‘Daddy’s Heartbeat – His Will - The Perfect Will of God’. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED. AMEN!!!

DADDY'S HEARTBEAT (6) - HIS PLEASURES - THE TWO KEYS TO GOD'S HEART (PT.2)

Please play this song softly while you read 'A Broken and Contrite Spirit who can Bear'

BROKENNESS (Godly Yielded-ness)

Brokenness is one of the two most important keys in worship because it touches the heart of the Father in Heaven. He takes pleasure in the brokenness of His people. Praise the Lord, the world in all its brokenness will find God. King David loved God so much, with his heart, soul and mind; that he obeyed God till it hurt and broke him in total surrender to God.

Psalm 34:8, ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’

Godly brokenness is a state of total yielded-ness, heartbrokenness, selflessness, hopelessness, helplessness, humility, despair, patience in waiting, repentance, gentleness and tenderness in spirit etc. The meaning of contrite is to be brokenhearted and repentant from sin.

Worldly Brokenness

Worldly brokenness is mainly the multiplication of the consequences of the sins that people have committed or the results of the sins of someone in authority or control trust upon the suffering people.

People are also suffering because of their own wrong choices or the consequences of the spiritual law of sowing and reaping. Whatever they sow, they will reap; bad seeds beget bad harvest. (Gal. 6:7) This is what is happening around the world today. God has allowed it so that the suffering people can turn to Him for help.

In their intense oppression, without a solution, the broken people will be bitter, in despair, desperate, unforgiving, rejected, disillusion, rebellious, revengeful and even suicidal.
Thanks be to God, through their brokenness they will turn to Jesus our Savior, when we as Christians, show them the way.

Even Christians will experience the same consequences if we break the Spiritual Laws of God, but the good news is, we have God to turn to and the blood of Jesus to cleanse us of our sins when we repent and free us from eternal damnation. Hallelujah!!!

In worldly music, most singers like Elton John and Michael Jackson sing with extreme brokenness in their souls which is also revealed in the songs and lyrics they write. People who are broken will easily identify themselves with their songs but just like the singers, they could not find an answer to their problems and purposes. This will most probably lead them to drugs and unhealthy relationships, the devil’s imitations to God’s solution. If you notice in the book of Psalms, King David’s songs always lead people to God, no matter what situations they are in.

Godly Brokenness

Godly brokenness leads people to God; Godly sorrow brings repentance and points to The Almighty God. God allows events and situations into our lives to break us so that we can be helpless and hopeless and run to Him for Help.

God also wants us to notice Him or give Him attention. God’s dealings are for the development and the transformation of our character, to be a better people.

Sometimes our own doings and wrong choices will bring us to a state of failure and brokenness. The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32).

For all the promises of God in Him are ‘Yes’ and ‘Amen’ (2Cor.1:20); but we disqualify ourselves when we walk out of His will and bring calamities to ourselves.
Proverb 19:3, ‘A man’s own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the Lord.’

If we live in a perfect world nobody needs to know God. God wants us to turn to Him in times of trouble. That explains why God allows so much suffering in the world today. The time is short and God wants more people to come to know His saving Grace.

In the course of our walk with God, there will be a time when God will lead us into the wilderness to test our faith in His words. It is in this situation where everything is taken away from us that we have only His words and promises to see us through. This is the time when our knowledge of His scriptures and promises will be of great help to us as we stand by them.

Luke 4:1-2, ‘Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from Jordon and was led by the Spirit in the desert, where for forty days He was tempted by the devil…’

Even Jesus had to go through this period of time called the ‘Baptism of Fire’ where God puts every wrong foundation, agenda, attitude and emotion in serving Him under intense fire over a long period of time. Only our sincere love and heart for the Lord will come through the fire (1Cor.3:13-15). If we pass this test and press on, we will be promoted.

Breaking of Self Will

All through the history of creation, the hearts of men had been self-willed and independent and they refused to listen to God. God often described His people as ‘stiff necked’ people.

The reason for God breaking our self- will is to deal with our pride and arrogance so that we will submit to Him. God wants to remove the ‘I’ or ‘self’ as the idol in our lives. When we deny ourselves and our abilities, we will let our lives fall in line with the word of God in submission.

A good example is the training of Arabian horses. When the horses are trained and ready for graduation, the final test is to starve and thirst them by confining them. Down the hill are pools of fresh water and succulent green grass. A breakable wooden fence separates them.

When the horses reach a stage of hunger and thirst so severe, they will break the gates and rush down-hill in full force to satisfy their cravings. At that moment, the master trainer will blow the whistle, the familiar sound of discipline, for the horses to stop. Those horses that stop and obey will be chosen to graduate.

Will you stop when God blows His whistle in your life? The decision is heartbreaking. God wants us to be helpless and hopeless so that we will turn to Him and let Him control our lives. Every human being would want to be in control and also to control others.

When we were heathens, we had given free reign to our flesh and had developed the wrong attitudes and emotions and self- centeredness. After we are saved the Lord may want to equalize our lives back to the standard according to His word. This process is also heartbreaking.

God also wants to heal the areas of our lives that are hurting. So like peeling an onion, layer by layer, He will tear it apart again and bring healing balms to the hurting areas.

God also wants us to humble ourselves by crucifying our flesh and denying ourselves for His glory. We even have to deny our rights to follow the righteousness of God. There is a difference between the righteousness of God and our self-righteousness. For example, our self righteousness says, ‘take revenge, an eye for an eye’; but God’s righteousness says, ‘Forgive, forget and love’. The decision to follow God’s word is heart shattering. When someone hurts us and we cannot fight back, it will bring us to a state of brokenness at the feet of Jesus.

I recall the time I tried to give up cigarettes after smoking for twenty years. After knowing Jesus, I was so spiritual that I told God that I would give up smoking at all cost. But when the desire and craving for cigarettes came, I could not stand it and cried out to the Lord, ‘Lord, just one more cigarette,’ and pleaded to Him to allow me one more puff. That pleading is brokenness. Even without an answer from God, I rushed to the post- box where I secretly hid my cigarettes from my wife and lit my cigarette to smoke. After I had satisfied myself, I was so convicted of my doing and ran to God, knelt before Him, cried and asked God to forgive me. This is also brokenness in trying hard to walk the path of God.

A good example of breaking the self will in the Bible is the breaking of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32).

Brokenness in Sickness

To be sick is the most heart wrenching and humiliating, especially sickness without a definite cure. There is this man, a capable self-made millionaire, hospitalize for terminal cancer. With all the money in the world he is helpless and is at the mercy of knives, needles, the hospital accounts department and the terrible attitudes of some of the nurses. This can be the most vulnerable time of this capable, rich and stubborn man’s life that he will turn to God.

I remember at the dialysis clinic I used to attend, I often suffered from painful cramps which would last for ten to fifteen minutes. When it occurred, I would have to plead for saline (salt water). The nurses could not care less and went about doing their chores. They would take their own sweet time while I writhed in agony. Many times under that condition, I lost my Christian principles and I shouted at them.

Another area of humiliation because of sickness was the fear of meeting people; especially the non-Christians whom I had witnessed before. I was afraid they might recognize me and come up and ask, ‘Hey, you told me your God can heal, how come you are in this condition?’

It would also not be encouraging for Christians to see an anointed servant of God on the dialysis machine, ‘Hey this guy had laid hands on me when I went up for healing prayers’.
Normally I will cover myself from head to toe with a blanket while I am on dialysis. What a broken shame!!!

How can I explain to them that if God wants to heal me, He can do it anytime? How can I explain to them about God’s dealings and brokenness? How can I explain to them about suffering for the Glory of God? I have to swallow my explanation as they would not understand anyway.

You see, God can use anything to accomplish His purpose of dealing with us and purifying us and that includes physical healing, even though He has proclaim that He is the Healer. He is still in the business of healing people and prospering people and if His plans are to put you to test through physical sicknesses, He will allow it. God will overrule the temporal physical healing to achieve the spiritual healing of your souls that will last for eternity. Job, in the Bible, lost everything and even suffered sickness when God allowed the devil to test Job.

Mark14:35-36, ‘Going a little farther, He fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from Him, “Abba Father,” He said, “everything is possible for You. Take this cup from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will.’”

This verse also indicates that even Jesus had to struggle to do the will of the Father. His human side was broken to know what He had to go through and even though He is the Son of God, He still showed some resistance knowing His mission was so incomprehensible. Nevertheless ‘Your will be done.’ This is the brokenness of Jesus. (Isaiah 53:2-3)

Now I understand how in the days of the Old Testament, the Israelites felt while they looked on helplessly as their temple was being destroyed, yet this God they had boasted so much about refused to do anything. They were a broken people.

Effects of Brokenness

The Thorn Bird Effect – one good example of the result God will receive through our brokenness is that of the example of the Thorn Bird – a kind of bird found in Australia.

When the thorn bird knows that it is getting old and is going to die, it will go to the thorn bush and press itself against the thorns. But before doing that the thorn bird will sing a beautiful song out of the brokenness of its heart. Everybody who listens to the singing will know that it is the thorn bird’s finale song and it is the most beautiful song the bird has ever sung as it comes from the depth of the heart of the bird.

In breaking us, God has created the ambience for us to release from the depths of our hearts, an important quality for those who go into deep worship, to sing like the thorn bird’s last song.

Psalm 42:7, ‘Deep calls to deep!’ Deep reaches out to deep and deep touches the deep.

You will know the time when you are closest to the Lord will be when you are desperately helpless, crying out to the Lord from your heart for help.

Isaiah 29:13, ‘These people come near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.’

Conclusion

In conclusion, Adoration and Brokenness will bring forth fruits of purification of our souls, through the refiner’s fire in worship and brokenness through the Baptism of Fire. (I will be sharing more in the next chapter.)

It satisfies the Father in Heaven because you are more and more like Him now. When He sees the reflection of the image of Himself in the refined gold, He knows you are ready to bear much fruits.

DADDY'S HEARTBEAT (5) - HIS PLEASURES - THE TWO KEYS TO GOD'S HEART (PT.1)

THE TWO KEYS TO GOD'S HEART - ADORATION AND BROKENNESS

From the life of King David, we observe that the two things that pleased God most and qualified him to be called ‘the man after God’s own heart ’are: Adoration (worship) and Brokenness (humble under His dealings).

Adoration (worship) and brokenness are the two most important keys to tug at the heartstrings of God and will lead us into His inner chambers during our ministry and intimacy with Him, the highest form of worship.

Songs of Songs 1: 4: ‘(Beloved) Take me away with You – let us hurry! Let the King bring me into His chambers... (Friends) We rejoice and delight in You; we will praise Your love more than wine… (Beloved) How right they are to adore You!’

There are delight and fulfillment in Adoration (worship). God is love (1John 4:8). He is an epitome of perfect and divine love. And those who draw near to Him will receive the immense feelings of love, peace and joy beyond all understanding ( the living waters), His dominant characters. There’s no high greater than the Lord most High!!!

I have said before that humanity is a sponge for love especially in this fallen world where the hearts of men have grown cold because of wickedness. (Matt. 24:12) And this power of His love will draw all men unto Him in worship and these people will hunger and thirst for more and more. Fill us Lord, we pray!!! And God will be delighted too in this fellowship of love, in the flow of our spirits being one with Him; Heart to heart, Spirit to spirit. Hallelujah!!!

Psalm 51:16-17, ‘You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; You do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.’

But God is also a ‘Consuming Holy Fire'. Deut. 4:24, ‘For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.’ (Heb.12:29). God hates sins but He loves the sinners.

God’s Holy Fire will devour all the impurities in you gradually as you draw closer and closer by the magnetic power of His love. God will also use testing and trials to humble you and break you so that He can transform you to be more and more like Him. And God will be delighted in that process of purifying you.

King David in the Bible was able to follow after God’s own heart not only through his Adoration (worship) but also allowed God to break and make him, the man God would want him to be to serve His purpose.

They are a ‘double happiness’ to God. He will accomplish His perfect plan through this ‘love and chastisement’ in due time.

‘ADORATION’ IS THE CARROT AND ‘BROKENNESS’ IS THE STICK. That’s how they train horses. They will attract and reward the horses with carrots or bits when they do well and they will use the cane if they are stubborn.

Rev.3:19, ‘Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.’ They work hand in hand.
God draws you by His love and purifies you in the process. Glory to His Name!!!

Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine to go down; the fulfillment in Adoration (Worship) is the sugar that will help us through the times of God’s dealings (the medicine). Amen!!!

ADORATION (WORSHIP)

What is adoration? Adoration is the highest form of worship. It begins where corporate worship ends. It is done in the secrecy of your private room called the secret place. There is this throne room worship where we bow in awesome respect and thanksgiving where we throw our crowns to the floor and fall prostrate before God in great reverence.

There are times when we enter the chamber of God and we experience divine love and intimacy with Him. God has many facets to His character, He is not a boring God or emotionless. Everything has a season. It is God’s choice. He will initiate while you sing love songs to Him. We just respond spontaneously while we sit at His feet in adoration.
Song of Songs 2:7, ‘…Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.’

Many people thought that by going to church every Sunday and sing some songs, is already worship. It is only the outer court worship. When you come into the Holy of Holies, like the Priest who burnt incense, it is one to one, God and the Priest, a personal relation is developed when you are one to one, the highest form of worship.

Psalm 27:4, ‘One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze (behold) upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple.’

Adoration is :-

Love responding to love in worship. It is spontaneous when you are singing love songs and worshipping Him. The Bible says, whatever measures you give unto God, it shall be measured back unto you. (Matt.7:2) There is a flow of fellowship. Love will attract love,
Song of Songs 6:3, ‘I am my lover’s and my lover is mine: He browses among the lilies.’

To look at God intensely with love,
‘…to gaze (behold) upon the beauty of the Lord…’ (Psalm 27:4)

To give God the highest degree of reverence and submission,
Psalm 5:7, ‘But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down towards your holy temple.’

The physical expression of an attitude of the heart; like that of a dog and its master (master-servant), or a husband and a wife (lover).

Judson Cornwall, a famous authority and specialist in writing books of worship, a lover of God, describes adoration in his book , ‘The Secret of Personal Prayer’ as: ‘Stirring the emotions to their maximum intensity in responding with unearthly delight, unspeakable joy and unsurpassed peace; Adoration inspires love and devotion so intense that it surpasses our understanding.’

This is one dimensions of worship that most people of God are not aware of or are too shy to share. This is the part where Jesus describes in Luke 10:38-42 as ‘what is better’ or ‘the best part’ of worship.

Jesus was at the house of Martha and Mary. Martha was distracted by all the preparation that had to be made, and Mary, her sister, was sitting at the feet of Jesus, ministering and adoring Him. Martha obviously was annoyed and told Jesus to ask Mary to help her. Jesus rebuked her saying, ‘Martha, Martha you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.’ (Luke 10:41). Praise the Lord!!!

It is now time for the people of God to come into His chamber and have love talk with Him. We do not have to worship from afar. We have been born in a time such as this that we can have easy access to the throne room of God by the precious blood of the Lamb, who has once taken us into the Holy of Holies. We can come boldly before His throne.

This is one song that I have written to bring people step-by-step into the loving presence of God: first, the impersonal bright light (outer court); then, the awesome throne room experience (Inner Court); and finally, to the highest worship, the chamber of God where we will drink from the river of His Divine love.
Psalm 46:4, ‘There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.’

It is included in my album called ‘Intimacy’, song No. 8

Click and listen to the song while you follow the words. AWESOME!!!

ADORATION (Habakkuk 3:4, Isaiah 6:1, Gal 5:22)

Spoken:

Your splendor is like sunrise
Rays flash from every side
When I approach this circular radiance
I am consumed by Your brilliance
As I begin to draw closer and closer
I am overwhelmed by Your intense brightness

Within the core of that Holy fire
I see a man sitting on a throne
And the train of His robe fills the temple
You are highly exalted and praise O God
I stand and begin to worship in awe
My crowns I throw to the floor

Your beautiful countenance is oozing with love
Peace, joy, tenderness and kindness from above
My heart falls for those graceful features
My passionate emotions have been stirred
I find myself in love, like never before
Your lovely face God, I adore
I love You Lord, give me more

Sing:

O the soft, soft gentle love of God is pouring
We exchange this fellowship of love
O the soft, soft tender peace of God is flowing
We commune in intimate love

Give me more Lord
Give me more
Take me higher
Let me soar………….repeat

There is someone I know
The world is His footstool
The clouds are the dust of His feet
The moon and the stars are the gleam from His teeth
And the sun the sparkles in His eyes

There is someone I know
Who knew me before I was born
Who created my inmost being
Whose eyes beheld my unformed body
Who first loved me though I was still in sin

Chorus:
Jesus its You
You're the one that I know
Yes its You
You're the someone I know
It is You
You're the one that I know
Jesus is You

COMMENTS.

Mr. CL Yam, Singapore.

Hi KB

Just viewed your testimony at the talk show with Vernon and Margaret Falls. I am impressed by what you have achieved for the Lord. Most importantly, you have persevered despite all the sufferings which you have testified "from being a curse to blessings for others" is indeed an offering acceptable to God.

We are to participate in the fellowship of the sufferings of Christ that we may be perfected.

This is not easy but let the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit gives you strength as you continue to minister and touch the lives of those who are sick and depressed as well as those who are healthy.

Hope to catch up with you...

Best regards

C.L.Yam

Pastor KM CHAN, Joycity Church, Perth, Australia.

Hi Bro,

Thanks for the dvds. Enjoy your testimony with Margaret and Vernon Falls. Can I have a few more of the ones with the Falls ?

I shed tears of joy listening to you. I am very proud to have you as my brother.

It’s probably the best video clip I have seen so far which captures your testimony, the kidneys and your song in the night all within about 20mins.

We thank God and give Him the glory for looking after you; even counting you worthy to suffer for Him. More than that, I am a living testament of one of the fruits you bear out of that suffering that God calls you into which you accepted so gracefully. We suffer for various reasons; most of it is because of our own wrong doings.

But 1 Peter 3:17 talks about the suffering for doing good and it is in this aspect that I see what you have suffered most over the many years in your sickness ie that of being misunderstood.

Without the kidneys is one thing; being misunderstood / judged unfairly, even by the people closes to you, is another.

My encouragement for you brother is to keep on keeping on with the words from 1 Peter 3:15-16

1Pe 3:15-17 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander

Secondly, watching the dvd caused me to ask the question why are you on a program for healing ? When yours is a testimony of suffering in sickness ?

I believe in the laying on of hands to heal the sick in Jesus’ name at every opportunity. I believe in divine health too.

But as I watched you shared, I see the testimony of HOPE for all who are going through suffering. In the current climate, many are looking at their own helpless situations; be it finance, sickness, fear of sickness, death, delinquent kids, unfaithfulness, uncertainties etc and your life suffering gives them HOPE. It points them to a Creator-Saviour who loves them.

Rom 5:1-5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Whilst you rejoice in your sufferings, your suffering has produced in you perseverance, perseverance character and character hope.

And HOPE is where many will see God through you…….with the TV screen, it has gone into nations.

Let me hear from your heart.

Take care and God bless,
KM

Dear uncle Chan,

I dont know what to say my heart was pounding with joy when I saw the word "KB Chan" in my account. I was astonished.

Thank you Jesus for helping me to contact a wonderful man of Your's. Uncle, I again want to say that your music - It is not you who is singing. It really is God whom I can hear, feel, taste. I really feel the prescence of God. Really!!!

The first song which I heard - Spiritual intimacy was so touching, I even shared it in our fellowship. I even gave the cd to our neighbour and they too were touched.

Every where I put this CD, people ask who sang it and where did you get it from.
Wonderful, uncle! Your team of singers they are blessed too.

Your daughter's songs are superb, all glory to My God, we Even did a choreography with the Father's day song in our fellowship.

Those children who sang them are wonderful. The instrumentalists are very good. I play keyboard, guitar and many other.

Each and every note..........I dont know how to explain. Words are not enough to describe God's work.I have a lot more to say. But right now we have a fellowship and I have to Go.

Uncle Chris mentor me through his teachings and you mentor me through your songs.
My relation with you is built every time I listen to your Songs.

God will heal you.

DADDY'S HEARTBEAT (3) - HIS PLEASURES - THE SEASONS OF GOD

THREE DIFFERENT SEASONS OF GOD - (In the lives of believers) CONT...........

Rom 8:29 says, ‘For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.’

The Outer Court - (Modern Day Church of Christ)

In the Spirit Realm, after the death and resurrection of Christ, the Tabernacle and Temple of God of the Old Testament on earth became embodied in the body of Christ; in the fulfillment of the Scriptures; where Christ became the head of the Church (Eph.5:23) (Col.1:18) and His body and the faculties of His body; the hands, legs and organs etc. became the churches and ministries of the modern day Church of Christ.

1Cor.6:19, ‘Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?’

The Sheep or the people of God became the cells that form the body. God begins to dwell in the hearts of His people. The cells or the 'little temples' must be rejuvenated first before health comes to the body and organs; regeneration of the body needs to start from the cells first.

After the salvations of the souls, bought by the Blood of Jesus, it is the season of God to bring refreshing and rejuvenation to the cells of the church. The Children of God that came into the outer court of the Old Testament Temple which was open-aired, were subjected to the sun and the rain; the elements of nature.

Matt.5:45, ‘He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.’ Even in the presence of God, they are flesh and spirit; uncommitted and worldly, so to say.

The modern day Christians will be filled with the Holy Spirit of liberty and joy but on the other hand, they are still subjected to the influence of the world and its systems. They are also flesh. Just like the Israelites in the wilderness, they reminisced about the garlic, the onions and melons of the place they have left. Egypt was not out of them yet.

God provides purification and forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus (Heb.9:12) and sanctification through of the cleansing of the Holy Spirit in the present day Church which has taken over the work at the Brazen Altar, where the blood of bulls and calves were bled (Heb.9:22) for the forgiveness of sins and the cleansing bowls (Bronze Basin) where the Israelites washed their hands and feet before they entered the Old Testament Temple’s Outer Court.

Titus 3:5-6, ‘…He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior.’

The Children of God are redeemed by blood and water. 1Peter 3:21, ‘…and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also – not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of good conscience towards God…’

When the children of God are born-again, their spirits are instantly healed, when the active Holy Spirit of God dwells in their dormant human spirit and begins to influence every function of the soul and body.

The souls being abused by the fallen world with their scars and deeply rooted negative attitudes; need time for God to heal. God will slowly layer by layer, like peeling an onion, get to the core and bring healing to the entire soul. It is a long process of regeneration, sanctification by the Spirit of God. We can only received full healing when Jesus comes.

Our bodies can only receive total physical healing and overcome physical death when Jesus returns.

1Thess.4:16-17, ‘For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

When Christ returns, those who have died and are with Jesus will be given new bodies – resurrected and glorified bodies just like Jesus. So it is with Christ, there is healing in the spirit, soul and body in His time.

There would be great celebration at the outer courts as people brought their sacrifices and thanksgiving as worship unto the Lord. As they burned their bulls and calves at the Brazen Altar, there would be great fellowship and feasting in the presence of the Lord. Great joy and liberty filled the atmosphere as the presence of God filled their hearts in unity. People brought their tithes and offerings and gifts into the Temple in their worship unto God.

The modern day churches today have celebration service as they continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving – the fruit of their lips that confess His name.(Heb.13:15) Imagine you have to bring bulls and calves to the church every week for our sacrifice.

Some churches have ‘Pot Bless’ where they fellowship after the service. Due to the presence of the Holy Spirit and the mild sanctifying fire of the Refiner’s Fire, there will be great rejoicing in liberty, peace, joy and love as the body of Christ dwells in harmony.

They will bring their offerings and tithes to the church in obedience to the Lord for provisions in the House of God. And the light of the Lord will shine upon them and bless them.

In both the Old Testament Temple and the New Testament Church the musical worship is corporate worship; worshipping from afar, master and servant, father and son relationship.

Eph. 4:8, ‘…when He ascended on high, He led captivity captive; and gave gifts to men.’ (v11) It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelist, and some to be pastors and teachers to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.’

1Cor.12:8-11, ‘To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and He gives them to each one, just as He determines.'

In the New Testament Church, as God dwells among men, He raises up people called ‘The Five Folds Ministers’ (Eph.4:11) to help in the service of teaching of the body of Christ in the discipleship of His Saints. He also presents them with Spiritual gifts to function in the prophetic, where in the Old Testament; the ministry of a Prophet took the whole package deal.

The people of God will have to submit to the leaders and authorities God has place above them. And because of the unction of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of men to go and witness to people, there will be a great avalanche of souls into the kingdom through their effort of evangelism and missions; although the children of God are still not perfect yet. God will rejoice and will gather His angels and tell them, ‘Look at my children, although they are not perfect, they are still pressing in for Me, Oh!!! I am delighted.’

This has been the condition of the present day churches around the world today. Most of the church people of God are complacent and satisfied that they have already been saved, THEY ARE CONTENTED AND SATISFIED AS THEY CONTINUE TO LIVE THEIR LIVES BETWEEN FLESH AND SPIRIT.

But many have individually responded to the challenge of God to be Kings and Priests (King David) and be drawn by the love of God to enter into the Holy Place. It is a challenge to the people of God as a spiritual step of promotion and advancement and maturity in the Spirit; a greater reward is waiting in heaven. The veil in the Most Holy Place has been torn into two but there is an invisible curtain that separates the outer court and the inner court and that is the curtain of His love that draws men into the Holy Place for those who are hungry and thirsty for more of His righteousness. I will show you how in the next season. Amen.!!!

The second part of this message will be continued in my next chapter under 'The Perfect Will' of God, 'The Seasons of God' the second season. More revelations to come, keep your fingers crossed.

Please listen to song 'My Delight'
One night I woke up surrounded by the presence of the Lord. I was filled with the Holy Spirit
and I did not know why He had visited me. When I asked, I could hear clearly these words in my heart 'Sing to me'. I had no song book beside me but I remembered a song by Elvis Presley called 'Young and beautiful' I liked the melody so I sang unto the Lord that night. This song came out of the encounter with God that night. Glory to God.

DADDY'S HEARTBEAT (2) - HIS PLEASURES - THE SEASONS OF GOD.

SEASONS OF GOD

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8,
‘There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.’

To know the times and seasons of the Heartbeats
of our God and obey them, will give God great pleasure and also blessings to our lives.

Jeremiah 29:11, ‘For I know the plans I have for you.’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future…’

God has chosen out a plan for us before the foundation of the earth. God’s plan for us is from here to eternity. Through the eyes of God, the process of blessing us is not only for this life but also for the Kingdom to come.

Our lives on earth is only the beginning, it is for us to prove our faithfulness to Him. For His plans for us is to spend eternity with Him. What is 70-80 years on earth compared to eternity?

Yet God is preparing us through the seasons, refining and perfecting us while we are on earth.
Philippians 1:6, ‘…that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.’

We can learn a good lesson from the Israelites in the wilderness after leaving Egypt; on their way to the promise land.

Exodus 40: 36-38, ‘ In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; but if the cloud did not lift, they would not set out – until the day it lifted. So the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel during their travels.’

The Israelites were obedient to the seasons of God and were bless by His guidance. They would loose the covering of God if they did not move on with the clouds. They were privileged to be blessed by His personal Glory in attendance.

Have you overstayed? Are you sensitive to the seasons of God? Why are you not blessed?
Sometimes by our human minds we would like to stay on in the oasis of comfort, but God says, move on!!!

Acts 17:26, 'From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhibit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.'

From the seed of Abraham to the many generations of his children and children to come, God is moving in the seasons of His great big plan for humanity. From the prophecies of the coming Messiah of the old testament Prophets, to their fulfillment in the revelation of Jesus Christ; and from the beginning of the new testament church to the second coming Jesus Christ , there is a perfect flow of God’s sequence and timing in His season. He will make all things beautiful in His time.

Hurry!!! Hurry!!! For those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. (Psalm 125:5) For weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)

We are living in the night in this fallen world and whatever we have labored and suffered for righteousness sake, will be no more when morning comes. We look forward to a new day of rewards. Morning may also mean when we have completed our jobs on earth and God brings us back home to rest.

1Peter:6-7, ‘In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith – of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire – may proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.’

For the phase of this season on earth will be coming to an end soon, and all that has been promised in His Words will finally be fulfilled in the New Jerusalem . Hallelujah!!!

THREE DIFFERENT SEASONS OF GOD - (In the lives of believers)

Rom 8:29 says, ‘For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.’

While men have different cycles of seasons in their lives, God has three distinct seasons for our lives. Let us break up the above verse into three parts.

'For whom He foreknew' - First Season - The Permissive Will of God

'He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son' - The Second Season- The Perfect Will of God.

'That He might be the firstborn among many brethren' - Third Season - His Love

FIRST SEASON - FOR WHOM HE FOREKNEW

Since God has chosen us, foreknew us before the foundation of the earth and we have responded through our own choice to become His children, He definitely receives great pleasure out of it. God gives gifts and favors to His children.

They have been abused by this fallen world and its systems both physically and spiritually and were in great needs before they came into the Kingdom.

Psalm 100:4, ‘Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever, His faithfulness continues through all generations.’

In this first season of God for the spiritual babies, He comforts them with streams in the desert, He satisfies their hunger and thirst and fills them with His love, peace and joy beyond all understanding and blankets them with a mild refiner’s fire in corporate worship; a fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies. The promises in the Bible are now all yours, my beloved, all yours, grab it and run, baby!!!

Zephaniah 3:17, ‘He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.’

They begin to enjoy the ecstasies of worship while God begins to woo them and draws them further into His presence with His love. Imagine the times of wooing in the ‘Bollywood’ pictures when the man begins to woo the woman.

It is the honeymoon season and God answers all their prayers from the most insignificant to the important. From prosperity, physical and spiritual healing to a taste of His divine love, they will be highly favored in this season of God. Humanity is a sponge for love.
Matt.24:12, ‘Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of many will grow cold…’

At this stage, out of His permissive will and by His grace and mercy through the blood of Jesus, God will play the part of the Father in providing for the needs of His children and He will receive great pleasure out of it but the children only know how to receive.

This new creation is made up of part flesh and part spirit. Their spirit is willing because of their ‘first love’ for God but their flesh is weak; like a spiritual monster.

Christians in this season is inward, self centered and it’s all about them; and it is a hindrance in the work of the Lord sometimes. When they open their mouths it is I, me and mine, even in the things of God. They want God to work for them instead of them working for God.

Slowly God will begin to empty their worldliness, teach them to die to self and crucify their flesh. They have come out of Egypt but Egypt is not out of them yet.

DADDY'S HEARTBEAT (1) - HIS PLEASURES

Please play this song softly while reading. 'Listen to Your heartbeat'

http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=3550518&q=lo http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=3550518&q=hi

Eph. 1:9-10, ‘Having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of times. He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth in Him.

HIS PLEASURES - His Prophetic Voice

In the last days, the world will experience a great intensity in the prophetic. Joel: 2:28, ‘……that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…….’ Everyone who has the Spirit of God will hear directly from Him and will obey and every activities and ministries of God on earth will be based in the prophetic, in hearing the voice of God.

To know the heart of the heavenly Father, His pleasures, His will, And His love, is prophetic, from the throne room of His grace. You will have to come closer to the Lord to hear His heartbeat. When we obey His will, God will receive great pleasure and we will also receive great delight and fulfillment.

In these last days, God will raise up a generation of God-pleasers, who will hear and obey to do anything for God unto death, Jesus being the first fruit. Rom: 8:29c ‘….the first born among many brothers….’

Rev.12:11. ‘They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.’

Jesus when He was on earth had given God great pleasure through His obedience to Him even unto death.
Luke: 22:42 ‘…..Father if it is your will, take this cup away from me; nevertheless not my will, but yours be done…’

Jesus knew His sacrificial mission and gave priority to give pleasure to God to fulfill His will. And for that Jesus is now glorified sitting at the right hand of the Father in heaven.

Another hero of faith in the Bible is King David who had given God great delight.
Acts 13:22, ‘…I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will.’

Although he had made many mistakes in his lifetime, David was repentant, humble and teachable. He was willing to yield to God’s heavy dealings until he was so broken and contrite, which is a necessity in true worship, in the caves of Adulam. He did great exploits for the Lord in his time and God granted him many favors.

Psalms 21:2 ‘You have given Him His heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of His lips.’ And so are some of the heroes of faith in the Bible who had given God great pleasures through their obedience and faith. E.g. Abraham, Moses, Joshua etc.
Heb. 11:6, ‘And without faith it is impossible to please God…’

GOD CREATED HUMANITY FOR HIS PLEAURES

Rev: 4:11 ‘You are worthy, O Lord, to receive Glory and Honor and Power. For you created all things, and by your will (pleasures) they exist and were created.’

God created humanity to worship and fellowship with Him. He derives great pleasure when He receives our fellowship, worship and praise.
Zep. 3:17, ‘ ……He will rejoice over you with gladness (pleasure) , He will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing’.

That is God’s desire in creating us. God was and is seeking after worshippers. Jesus clearly confirms this in the New Testament.
John 4:23, ‘But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipper will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him’.

He is not looking for worshippers to worship Him only but for them to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, to worship God with a true heart. That is the heart of worship.

A true heart comes from your choice to worship Him out of the conviction of your own hearts; to worship not with your mouth only but with your heart, mind and soul as well. Isaiah 29:13, ‘These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far away from Me. Their worship of Me is made up only of rules taught by men.’

The heart is the place where the Spirit and the Soul of man meets and belongs to a part of the soul area. In spite of all the temptations to feast their flesh, worldly pleasures, persecutions of the fallen world, the worshippers have made a choice to even suffer afflictions and pains to follow Jesus and deny themselves, crucify their flesh and give glory to Him in worship. And that choice will give God great delight.

He did not want humanity to be like His angels, who have not been given free choice, but to perform according to His bidding; but out of our choices and will, we will give Him, glory, honor and praise.

What had been lost in the Garden of Eden where God visited Adam for fellowship in the cool of the day, God has a plan even before the creation of the earth, in redeeming humanity back into fellowship with Him again, through the cross, according to His plans.

HIS PERMISSIVE WILL - GOD TAKES PLEASURE IN GIVING AND RECEIVING

Eph. 4:8 ‘…..When He ascended on high, He led captives in His train, And gave gifts to men.’

Being a father myself, I can feel the heartbeat of the Father in heaven concerning the areas of provision and expectation. An earthly father gathers great delight in providing for his children’s needs and even wants sometimes. He will be glad just to see them happy.

But on the other hand, He also enjoys seeing his children grow and mature into fine young men, who will have the character of the good father, because he has groomed them to be like him; sometimes even disciplining them when they walk out of alignment. And finally, he would love to see them being useful to serve God and nation when they grow up.

This is also the desire of the Father in Heaven. He receives great pleasure in providing for His earthly children and also makes Him so glad to see them becoming more and more like Him each day, growing in spiritual maturity and Christ-likeness, the mold of Christ in their lives and to be victorious on earth.

The first level of giving that God has found great delight in His children; is in the area of their needs; to meet them at their needs. It is a broken world and God has to heal their brokenness when they come to know Him or receives salvation. It is this area of their needs that God had drawn them to Him.

It is a package deal in salvation where God give gifts to His children in the healing of their bodies, provisions (supply all their needs), prosperity and even ministry and anointing.

He is delighted in His permissive will and love for His children at this point of salvation. His pleasure in giving at this time is like a mother who takes pleasure in cooking for her son and when she sees him enjoying the food she will also feel fulfilled.

But Jesus had not died for those provisions only, although through those gifts they have attracted many to come to know Jesus; because when the human body dies, all these gifts of body healing, provisions, prosperity etc. will be buried with that person and lost forever, if they do not use these gifts to glorify God.

It is disheartening to see churches being set up based on these provisions only. I have often debated with people whose concept of God is in the area of His provisions only, the worldly way of wanting to know God; it may be good to begin with!!!

These had been the focus of the past churches in their evangelistic effort to bring people to know Christ. They had been harping on this topic of provision denying the fact that we have also an eternal purpose and that is to mature to be like Christ and have our souls healed and purified before God takes us to heaven for His eternal purpose, the perfect will of God. God loves to see you more and more like Him.

The healing of the soul area is also in God’s plan for eternal purposes. God wants you to accomplish this mission to purify your soul for your eternal wellbeing. (Rom. 8.28) But for your good may not be for your comfort. (Rev. 3.19)

DADDY'S HEARTBEAT - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Happy Father’s Day

Hi, Beloved,

Mal. 4:5-6, ‘Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the Lord and the dreadful day of the Lord. And He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.’

This has been the promise of the Father in Heaven; to restore the hearts of the children to their Heavenly Father and also to the hearts of their earthy fathers.

Yes!!! God is waiting for you!!! Have you walked away from your Heavenly Father???
Do you know HIM???

This special Father’s Day, let’s take this opportunity to tell Him how much we love Him and thank Him for the way He has fathered us. Thank Him for His grace and mercy for our lives that He had gone through so much to bring us back to Him.

From Gen.3:19, ‘In the sweat of your face (brow) you shall eat bread.’ to Phil. 4:19, ‘And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’

If you do not know Him, you have to make your living by the sweat of your brows for your needs as a human being. When Adam and Eve left the Garden of Eden, God cursed the grounds they were standing on. The ground that produced free food for them no longer would provide for them anymore. They had to sweat and farm for their food, just like the people in the world today who do not know the supernatural provisions of this wonderful God.

But I have good news for you if you become His children, He will provide all your needs in the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. Amen!!! Joint heir with Jesus!!! Not that you don't have to work or be lazy; but God will open doors for you to prosper and He will also provide for you and family even if you go through adverse conditions of needs in your life. I have seen my friends suffered financial needs for many years; and as I looked back I can see His faithfulness in His provision for the needs of my friends and families through the years. Praise the Lord!!!

We have not forgotten our earthly fathers either? By the sweat of their brows they have brought us up and all the years they have fathered us.

My dad was a plumber and by the sweat of his brow he provided all our needs when we were small; providing for us and protecting us.

My dad died 20 years ago and there were many times and occasions I want to say, I love him and thank him for the way he had fathered us; but because of my pride, I have kept it in my heart and I just could not say so. Now is too late.

Let us on this special occasion, give our earthly daddy a thought and remember all the wonderful things he has done for us. Will you???
Perhaps you can sent this song ‘Daddy You’re My Hero’ and tell him how much you love him.

Father You're the best , my delight
Father You're sweet Sweeter than honey on the rocks
Father You're the light in the night
Father You're my strength and my forever friend

Abba Father You're my Hero
You're there when I need You
You sent the greatest gift Of love into my life.

Daddy You're the best and You're mine
Daddy You're so sweet Sweeter than anyone I've met
Daddy You're my song in the night
Daddy You're my strength And my forever friend

Daddy, Daddy You're my Hero
You're there when I need You
You're the greatest gift I've receive in my life.
